Introduction

Lorraine Thornhill is an internationally certified Master Hypnotist and Master Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner. She holds certifications from the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) and the International Board of Coaches and Hypnotists (ICBCH). Lorraine is also certified in Life Coaching through Achology (the Academy of Modern Applied Psychology) and is an Advanced Reconnective Healing Practitioner®. Additionally, she is a certified Hypnosis Instructor with ICBCH.

Lorraine developed the “Move Your Mountain Program ®” and the “Hypnotic Healing For IBD and IBS Symptom Relief Program” and is the author of the book

, available on Amazon. She regularly speaks at hypnosis conventions on a variety of topics and is available for speaking engagements at events.

Hypnosis Disclaimer

Hypnotism is a self-regulated profession, and its practitioners are not licensed by state or provincial governments. Lorraine Thornhill is not a physician or licensed healthcare provider and cannot provide medical diagnoses, treatments, or recommendations to discontinue medically prescribed treatments or services. Clients seeking medical diagnoses or treatment should consult a licensed healthcare provider. Should a client wish to transfer services to another practitioner or terminate services, they may do so at any time without retaliation. Clients have the right to refuse services at any time and the right to be free from physical, verbal, or sexual abuse. Additionally, clients are entitled to know the expected duration of sessions.

Code of Ethics

Lorraine adheres to the Code of Ethics and Standards set forth by the National Guild of Hypnotists and the International Board of Coaches and Hypnotists. Payment and Insurance

Payment for services is expected upfront before any program begins, unless a payment plan has been prearranged. Lorraine’s services are self-pay, which helps ensure your privacy and enhances the value of the work. In general, insurance companies do not cover hypnotism services, and clients should not expect such coverage.

# 5.

Initial Consultation and Health Provider Collaboration

Lorraine prefers to have a free consultation, either by phone or video, before starting any program to ensure that hypnosis is the right fit for you. If necessary, Lorraine will request permission from your healthcare provider to begin sessions. Upon request, she will provide your healthcare provider with information on her scope of practice and a proposed action plan.

# 6.

Session Overview

Lorraine's work is conducted online. In your first session, you and Lorraine will discuss your goals, and she will provide you with self-help techniques. The services offered are designed to motivate and coach you toward personal improvement using non-therapeutic hypnosis and self-hypnosis instruction. Lorraine facilitates change, but it is the client’s responsibility to practice the provided self-help techniques in order to achieve progress.

Educational Nature of Services

The services provided by Lorraine Thornhill are intended for educational and informational purposes only. They are offered as motivational coaching through non-therapeutic hypnosis and are not represented as healthcare or psychotherapy. Although hypnosis has shown positive health benefits in research, by law, Lorraine may not make any health benefit claims for her services. Always refer any healthcare concerns to your healthcare team.

# 8.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Sessions must be prioritized and treated with the utmost respect. Please provide 1 business days notice via phone, email, or text if you cannot attend an appointment. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of your payment and session.

Changes to Fees and Services

You will receive at least 30 days notice if there are any changes to service fees or terms. Lorraine reserves the right to adjust services and fees as necessary to better serve her clients.
